God has given us a strangely mixed world with hard facts amidst our joys, like thorns among roses, storms among sunshine and gentle showers. But it is God’s world and He sends what is needed for the balance of nature. We find our peace in accepting the storms while rejoicing in the sunshine and flowers, and in accepting the difficult times while delighting in days of joy and peace.
